Liposthenes glechomae

The galls of Liposthenes glechomae develop on the underside of leafs or on leaf stalks and stems of Glechoma species, like G. hederacea or G. hirsuta. They gain a size of 5-25 mm and are covered by whitish hairs. Adult wasps emerge in April-May.
